What is so unique about SAMIR Program?

SAMIR (SysAdmin Moulding for Industry Readiness) is the first of its kind in the SysAdmin World. It is our attempt to speed up the on-the-job training process by providing hands-on learning experience to our participants. If it takes less time to train you on-the-job and if you already know most of the stuff they need, which company wouldn't want to hire you?

This program helps the participants as follows:

1. moulding them as a better Unix/Linux Admins by exposing them to working in an IT environment
2. hands-on training on related to popular Unix/Linux sysadmin software which helps them on job
3. enables them to work as a Unix/Linux Admin in a company with confidence
4. expediting the process of their getting a SysAdmin job faster.

Who is eligible?

Participants need to have earlier training in any Linux/Unix Admin Basics course. They are shortlisted based on a written test and an interview. New batches start once in 3 months and we take only two per batch.

What is the duration of this program?

It takes at least 45 days for successful completion of this program. At the end of the program, we conduct a final test and interview. Based on the performance, we issue participation certificates.

What is covered?

It starts with our LA Track, and covers many more hands-on topics. It also covers how to improve your personality, communication and interview skills. An updated list of topics is available at our company for your reference.

How much does this cost?

Current pricing for SAMIR Program is Rs.24,000 for 45-days. If you need job guarantee also, it costs you Rs. 48,000.

Does it come with Job Guarantee?

It comes in both flavors - with or without job guarantee. Currently we provide job guarantee with our company, The UX Group, provided you fulfill all the requirements.

Our company is in regular need of dedicated and hard-working Unix/Linux Admins. So, if you are too good, we would hire you before anyone else (provided you are interested working with us). More companies will get added to our list of recruiters as our SAMIR Program gets more popular.

Fine, I understand the relevance of SAMIR Program. How can I join?

Give us a call and schedule a time for written test and interview. The fee for the selection process is Rs.200. You will be intimated within a week whether you are selected into SAMIR Program or not.

I don't mind paying extra if you assure me a Job. Would you?

Please appear for the selection process of SAMIR Program. After clearing that, you need to appear for our employment screening process. If you clear both and if your performance is very good, we would like to offer you a job at The UX Group itself, with a salary that matches your academic qualifications and experience. You need to give us at least six months of committment, while ideally we prefer that you be with us for more than a year. You will be taken as our employee at the end of the 45-day SAMIR Program.

What if I am selected for SAMIR Program but couldn't clear your employment screening process?

Pretty simple. You cannot be hired by us. You can still go ahead and do the SAMIR Program if you prefer. We will also assist you with placements as much as we can, and please note that the current market is back in good shape, so you will get a job soon anyway.
